VC Urban’s approach was holistic, covering both the construction works and the installation of advanced electronic and smart traffic management systems.

Comprehensive Services and Support by VC Urban Development

Infrastructure & Asphalt Works

Road cutting and restoration works were carried out, along with asphalt paving and the complete reinstatement of traffic lanes and sidewalks. Special attention was given to the proper design of crosswalks, compatibility with the existing road network, and ensuring the safe passage of both pedestrians and vehicles.

Electromechanical Infrastructure

The project included the construction and utilization of cable routes through existing manholes, the installation of power supply pillars and traffic signal controllers, as well as the placement of controllers and central control units (PCUs). All infrastructure was designed to ensure reliable operation and easy maintenance.

High-Visibility Vertical & Horizontal Signage

Illuminated LED bricks integrated into the road surface, self-illuminated vertical signs, and horizontal markings (zebra lines and stop lines) with cold – plastic materials were installed. These interventions significantly enhanced the visibility of crossings, both during the day and in low-light conditions.

Smart Traffic & Data Collection Systems

As part of the project, smart traffic systems were installed, including traffic data collection cameras, measurement devices, and supporting equipment. These systems help improve traffic management and provide data for the future planning of interventions.

Testing, Handover & Compliance

Upon completion of the works, functional tests of all systems were carried out on the same day of installation. The project was delivered in full operational readiness, in accordance with technical specifications and the requirements of the Contracting Authority.
