Construction of Asphalt Traffic Crossings in Macedonia and Thrace

VC Urban carried out a project for the construction and upgrading of asphalt traffic crossings under a contract with Nuro Solutions, involving interventions at selected locations within the road network.

The project focused on improving the functionality of the crossings and enhancing road safety through the application of new asphalt layers and proper preparation of the infrastructure at key junctions in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

The works included:

• The procurement and transportation of the necessary materials
• The application of a bituminous adhesive coating and the laying of an asphalt pavement with an appropriate finish
• Particular emphasis was placed on the durability of the surfaces, smooth vehicle traffic, and the proper integration of the interventions into the existing road environment.

The project was implemented in accordance with the applicable technical specifications, addressing the needs of urban and suburban areas, within the framework of local government projects.
